Who we are

An established offshore logistics operator, built into a global drilling group.

Norwegian Logistic is the trading name for the logistics operations of COSL Norwegian AS, founded in 2008 with head office functions in Sandnes and a postal address in Stavanger — Norway's oil and gas capital. The company is part of an international group that owns and manages companies providing oilfield-related services, and we coordinate the movement of equipment, materials and supplies between onshore bases and offshore installations for drilling operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

About the company
Core capabilities

Four capabilities that cover the full supply chain

From rig moves to the last mile — each capability is built around one concrete operational need, not a generic freight category.

01

Mobilisation & project logistics

View mobilisation services
What it is

Planning and coordination of rig moves, equipment mobilisation and heavy lifts — from route planning to cargo certification.

Who it serves

Drilling contractors and operators moving rigs or large equipment packages on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Why it matters

A delayed mobilisation window costs far more than the freight itself — precision in the planning phase is what keeps the schedule.

02

Marine & supply-base logistics

View marine logistics
What it is

Sailing schedules for supply vessels, quayside handling and materials management at the Sandnes supply base.

Who it serves

Shipowners, supply bases and operators who need steady, predictable sailing capacity to installation.

Why it matters

Irregular supply forces installations to hold unnecessary buffer stock — we smooth out the capacity.

03

Customs, insurance & compliance

View customs & compliance
What it is

Customs clearance, temporary import/export and international cargo insurance for oilfield equipment.

Who it serves

Equipment suppliers and EPC contractors moving equipment across borders.

Why it matters

Incorrect documentation stops cargo at the border — our oilfield-specific documentation expertise prevents exactly that.

04

Tracking & operations support

View tracking & technology
What it is

Real-time digital tracking, exception alerts and a dedicated operations coordinator per shipment.

Who it serves

Procurement and operations teams who need documented status without chasing updates by phone.

Why it matters

Full traceability isn't a convenience — it's the documentation audits and HSE require.

Industries we serve

Built for complex offshore supply chains

Mobilisation, demobilisation and ongoing supply to drilling rigs and fixed installations.

02

Oilfield service providers

Freight and customs clearance of specialist equipment, tools and spare parts between workshop and installation.

03

Project cargo, heavy lift and coordinated base logistics for larger installation projects.

04

Shipowners & vessel operators

Quayside handling, sailing coordination and materials management at the supply base.

How it works

Four steps from supply base to rig floor

01

Plan & inspect

Equipment is scheduled and inspected against operator specification before it leaves the base.

02

Pack & certify

Cargo is packed, weighed and certified to offshore lifting and transport requirements.

03

Ship & clear

We book vessel or air capacity, handle customs paperwork, and track the shipment in real time.

04

Deliver & confirm

Delivery is confirmed against manifests and documentation, quayside to rig floor.

Safety isn't a claim we make — it's how offshore logistics has to work.
Safety, compliance, quality

Safety isn't a claim we make — it's how offshore logistics has to work.

Every movement is planned against NORSOK and IADC standards, with full chain-of-custody documentation from onshore base to installation. It's the same discipline we hold our freight network to: efficient routing, verified compliance, zero surprises.
